Invisible Dog Fence:
dog fence is needed. Traditionally dogs were restricted in kennel, which were physical barriers, or through chain. A different method of invisible restricting has come up where kennel cannot be seen. These new fences often come as underground fences and
wireless fences, and use Audible warnings, correction stimulants or a combination of both techniques to prevent dog from crossing the decided limit. Invisible dog fences does not make it physically impossible for the dog to cross the barrier but it does reduce
the chances that the dog will cross the barrier as it gives warning. The real charm of the invisible dog fence is that it will not restrict human from moving about.
Types of Warning System:
1) Audible Correction: This system use audible
reminder or correction, which tells pet not to cross the boundary.
2) Vibrations: Some systems use vibrations as reminders to keep the pet off limits.
3) Spray citronella: A few of them use citronella spray. Smell of this spray tells dogs to keep
away from boundary.
4) Electronic pulse: They emit electronic pulse if pets try to cross the invisible plain. Pets will get a shock strong enough not to do it again, but not strong enough to injure them.
Training of Pet:
Theses invisible
system requires you're dog to wear some type of receiver on their collar and require training of the dog to respect the boundary. The system is more of a Pavlovian teaching system than a punishment tool. It restricts dog's movement by issuing warning. Your dog
needs to be trained to respect these warnings. For training your pet set up small flags along the boundary and with the dog on leash walk to the edge of the boundary. While the dog still on leash shake the flag and give the dog the warning, which he/she is,
suppose to receive if they cross the boundary. It should be repeated several times a day for about a week or alternatively 10 minutes twice a day for 2 weeks to train your dog. This will teach the pet that they will receive a warning as they approach the
flags. Once a warning is issued he or she is not suppose to cross the boundary, as now you understand training is the key.
Training can effectively correct unwanted behavior, as well as establish proper behavior. And you will be the proud owner of a well-behaved pet.
